Santorini is perhaps the best of all Greek islands and is one that is a truly unique and amazing location to visit. Situated in the blue waters of the Aegean sea in the southern part of the Cyclades, the island of Santorini is a volcanic island and throughout it's history has caused some devastating eruptions.

The island is steeped in myth and history and it's exceptional geological structure make it totally different to the other Greek islands you can visit in the Aegean. What exactly is left today of this once enormous volcano is the thing that attracts a huge number of visitors from all over the world.

Santorini is amazing and there are not enough words to describe just what a beautiful and stunning island it is. You will have to see and experience it for yourself.

There are many resorts and villages across the island, each with its own attractiveness, narrative and magic. The capital town of Fira as well as the town of Oia in the north of the island are both found on the edge of the caldera and give some of the islands most remarkable and stunning views of the volcano.

You can also get beach resorts such as Perissa and Kamari and enjoy a few of the islands many exclusive beaches, such as the Red, Black and White beaches, named after the colour of the sand that you will find on them.

Santorini has several tourist destinations and museums that are definitely worth visiting if you have the chance. The island is a spot where you can not help but to wind down and relax, yet at the same time, be enthusiastic about what awaits you as you travel around and enjoy everything that Santorini has to offer.

You can find frequent ferry and air connections to the island and it has a fantastic infrastructure for holidays. Santorini is also where you can some of the most impressive and beautiful hotels on the earth. Whatever type of holiday you are interested in, you can be confident that Santorini will have something for you all.
